Scam Alert: Fake Job Advertisement

The Central Bank of The Bahamas wishes to alert the public that a fraudulent job advertisement is being circulated via social media and other messaging applications falsely claiming to offer employment opportunities with the Central Bank of The Bahamas.

Please be advised that:

  • The Central Bank of The Bahamas is not currently advertising for the position(s) mentioned in the fake advertisement. 
  • Job postings are published only through our official website and verified social media channels.

Anyone who receives a suspicious job listing or message is urged to:

  • Avoid engaging or providing personal information. 
  • Report the advertisement to local authorities. 
  • Visit the Central Bank of The Bahamas’ official website, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook pages to validate the credibility of the advertisement(s).

The public is assured that the Central Bank of The Bahamas is working with the relevant authorities to address the matter.
